Warm hearted, sociable I have life long friends and am hoping to meet a man to share life with. I'm gregarious and confident most of the time but rather than working the room at a party I much prefer getting to really know people and their stories. I have a robust sense of humour and am passionate about the things I believe in. I enjoy my home in the countryside, and zipping around the quiet lanes on my bicycle. I enjoy simple pleasures, can bake a great cake, am a decent cook, but for the life of me I ruin a steak every time! I love old buildings and historic houses, and discovering quirky little corners in cities I'm visiting. Seeing the bright lights of the city at night time, or standing at the gate in the garden watching the barn owls and rabbits as the sun goes down. Both bring equal pleasure. I paint, sometimes pretty well, sometimes appallingly! I read, mostly trashy novel. I enjoy being on water, and am very happy on a boat! I have a pipe dream of having a landrover with a tent box and driving off road so I can paint extraordinary landscapes.. but I think I may need to factor in that climbing down a rickety ladder after a night's sleep on a not so comfy bed, might cast a pall over my bright idea!! Visiting new places is something I enjoy. I do seem to fall in live with the places I go to! Greece, Wales and the Isles of Scilly all have my heart. There's something wonderful about travelling on your own, but not every single time.. I'd really like to share life's ups and downs with someone on my wavelength. I'm a curvy woman and some of you might not like that. Some of you might! I'm hoping you are the one who likes this woman and her cover. If so please do say hello, especially if you have a landrover, or you can cook up a mean steak! ..

Piano, Recorder, I could play the piano. I was quite good. I'm not now. I have the dubious skill of playing the recorder through my nose. Sophisticated.

a golden eagle, an artist, Oh to be able to fly!! I've been in helicopters, Cessnas, paragliding, and an ex raf training jet. But to fly with your own set of wings....
