I am an outgoing person with some strong political beliefs. I care about the planet and am particularly concerned for future generations. I am a people person both in a general and a personal sense. I love the arts and have a background in writing and directing for the theatre. I like nature, walking, reading and music but above all I enjoy the company of others, having a good conversation and finding lots to laugh about. I would like to find companionship with someone who has some of the same interests but not necessarily all. I am always happy to be introduced to new ways of thinking and doing. ..OL

Occupation:

I had quite a portfolio career, teaching for 14 years in secondary schools followed by a range of training jobs. I moved into the voluntary sector, heading up a project for young people 'at risk'. That was followed by a stint in local government as an advisor in the importance of young people's participation. I am mostly retired now although I still write and direct for theatre.

Education:

The main thing to say about my education is that I thoroughly enjoyed everything from A levels through to Masters Degree and not much before that. I've always leaned heavily towards the Humanities and Arts.

I am a hybrid white.

No particular religious beliefs but the spiritual side of me is very important.

Politics:

Left-wing, passionate Remainer. Strong belief in equalities.

I am fortunate in being slim and reasonably attractive.

Mediterranean vegetables and Ricotta wrapped in Filo, Smoked Salmon, I am a pescetarian - so meat is completely out.

Ideal Holiday:

Driving slowly around Ireland, Learning to paint in Provence, Mostly I would like to travel to the East, the Middle-East or parts of Africa.

In another life:

A dolphin, a tree, a film director, I used to think I would like to have been a delivery driver - but that was before Amazon came along.
