A few words about myself! I am a kind and humorous person. Ideally, I would love to meet friends on this site, perhaps more, and trek long distances over the hills babbling away about anything at all really After that a nice curry somewhere would be nice to restore the calories and continue the babble. I love my hill walking and also run to keep myself fit. I have run over 100 marathons including two last year and have had some wonderful experiences here and in Europe. Currently my charity work keeps me busy and some voluntary teaching. I am an IT contractor looking for my next contract but in no hurry. I campaign for the Green Party and feel quite passionate about the affairs of the day. My Buddhist practice means a lot to me and I have been part of a group in Leeds now for almost 40 years. ..

I am an IT Consultant but haven't had a contract for a good while as the work market has dried up. I have lots of voluntary teaching commitments at the moment.

I have a BSc in Pure Maths and Theoretical Physics and a PG Diploma in IT. I have taken loads of courses online, edx and udemy, on climate, change, nature, science and maths.

Religion:

I am a committed atheist. I have practiced Buddhism for forty years.

Politics:

My politics are very important to me. I campaign for the Green Party regularly and stand in the local elections.
